The PlaneTalk technique allows you to see the whole fretboard as friendly, familiar territory, at all times. It applies to any style of music, naturally -- rock, blues, grunge, folk...whatever.

This wonderful chord progression changes key just about every bar, and so is a challenge to solo over.

Click the start button to watch a quick movie of me improvising a few passes through it. There are of course an unlimited number of possibilities. This was all played without once thinking "scale" or "mode". I simply followed the changes à la PlaneTalk, seeing each chord as the entire fretboard.
